Going into last season, there was a legitimate question mark at defensive tackle. The Eagles still had Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. But they had to replace Milton Williams, an integral part of the Super Bowl LIX triumph who left in free agency for a $100 million deal from the Patriots.

Fortunately, Ojomo was ready to follow Williams’ footsteps. Ojomo, the 2023 seventh-rounder out of Texas, quickly established himself as a force on the Eagles’ interior defensive line.Ojomo, who entered last season without a single regular-season sack, finished second on the team in 2025 with six sacks.
He played in all 17 games, started nine times and logged 12 quarterback hits, six tackles for loss and 38 total tackles. Ojomo, the No. 249 overall pick in 2023, logged more defensive snaps (740) last year than he did in 2023 and 2024 combined (456).
With Carter dealing with shoulder issues and Davis doing his best work against the run, Ojomo was the perfect complement (and gave offenses headaches) on passing downs. He showed off his explosiveness and smarts. Behind the scenes, teammates call him “Coach Mo.”
