× A popular WWE legend has made a bold claim regarding Jon Moxley, as they have called him a fraud. They also claimed that the Death Riders do not help AEW in any way whatsoever. Ad Mox and his crew have a unique reputation within the promotion as they were the most hated faction during his reign as the world champion, but things quickly changed as the months passed.
The Purveyor of Violence is still considered a fan favorite, despite his faction shifting between heel and face on occasion. During one of the latest episodes of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray claimed that the Death Riders have not helped AEW in any way, and Jon Moxley is to blame for that. He then mentioned that although he may not be able to take out the rest of the group, he stated that Moxley was a fraud and someone he could beat down if he wanted to.
Ad Trending "The Death Riders have not helped AEW in any way, shape, or form...The Death Riders are Jon Moxley playing out his pro wrestling fantasies because he's got Tony [Khan's] ear. Because he wants to be Terry Funk?
I would kick the s**t out of Jon Moxley... But Moxley? I'd beat the living s**t out of him.
Fraud." Ad The veteran then spoke about the group's current storyline with Will Ospreay, and he hoped this would work in their favor. "Hopefully, they book to put a**es in seats while incorporating The Death Riders into this main event match, and not just for what they want to see...
Too many times, I've seen wrestlers booked for what they want to see and what they think social media will pop for. The only thing you want to book for is for people to put their hand into their pocket and pay money to sit in a seat," Bully further explained. "That's the goal, that's the business of The Business."
[H/T WrestlingInc.] Ad Ad Bully Ray is past the point of caring about Jon Moxley and the Death Riders This was not the first time this month that the WWE Hall of Famer has been critical of Jon Moxley and the Death Riders, as a few days ago, he called out how he felt nothing while seeing them on TV. Bully Ray claimed that it was difficult to care and connect emotionally with what the group has been doing lately.
Ad "I'm passed the point of caring, giving a flying rat's a**, or wanting to understand. Every week, it's something different. I want you to emotionally connect with me; not toy with my emotions as opposed to am I supposed to like these guys or not.
Pick a direction and stick with it. They're just not doing it," he said. [H/T - WrestlingINC.]
The Death Riders' current storyline is unpredictable, as Ospreay's involvement with them grows as the days pass, but he is far from being an official member of the faction. Fans will have to keep staying tuned to see what happens next. × Was this article helpful?
