Will Blackmon hosts annual free youth football camp

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Former Hendricken star Will Blackmon was back in his home state on Sunday as he hosted his annual youth football camp.

The camp, open to kids ages 7 to 14, focused on skill development, confidence, and overall football IQ and allowed athletes to learn roper technique, offensive and defensive concepts, situational football, and mental performance training to build a strong mindset on and off the field.“We have a lot of kids who’ve never played football,” Blackmon said. “And you never know if there’s something they might latch on to just by learning from us.”
