Now serving as the CEO of a company, he enters a newly built apartment complex with hidden motives. His objective is to become the chairman of the apartment residents' council so he can recover 10 billion won in hidden illicit funds, which he hopes to use to save Yong-man, the man he considers a father figure. Ad While pursuing the money, Hae-gang unintentionally discovers corruption deeply rooted within the apartment community.

Instead of leaving after achieving his goal, he gradually begins working alongside the residents to expose those responsible. His journey transforms him from a man driven by personal gain into an unexpected neighborhood hero. Ji Sung plays Park Hae-gang, whose calm gentlemanly appearance hides sharp instincts developed during his years as a gangster.

Throughout the story, he balances his secret mission with his growing commitment to protecting the residents and exposing corruption. Ad Ha Yoon-kyung stars as Kang Ha-ri, whose dream is to become a lawyer at the prestigious law firm We Partners. Despite her ambitions, she currently works part time at the firm's free legal consultation desk.

She becomes involved in Hae-gang's plan through an unavoidable lie and eventually joins the unusual group surrounding him. Park Byung-eun portrays Lee Chung-won, the representative of the apartment's construction company and a resident of the penthouse. He appears charming, wealthy, eloquent, and approachable, but beneath his calm personality lies a cold and calculating side.

His confrontation with Park Hae-gang reveals that he has his own connection to the apartment's hidden secrets and becomes one of Hae-gang's major opponents.
