Both sides are eyeing a comeback for stalled post-Brexit trade talks.
LONDON — It’s not just England's World Cup dreams on the line tonight. There also a quieter diplomatic subplot: Mexico would quite like to restart stalled trade talks with Britain. In an interview with POLITICO in April, the country’s trade minister Luis Rosendo Gutiérrez Romano said Mexico wants to “relaunch” negotiations in the second half of this year, focused on pharmaceuticals, financial services and advanced manufacturing.
