LeBron James has been linked to the Warriors in the past week, but he could be headed elsewhere.
The Golden State Warriors have long been viewed as one of the teams to watch in the LeBron James sweepstakes, but a new report suggests they may not be the four-time NBA champion's preferred destination.According to ESPN's Anthony Slater, the Warriors believe they are currently not at the top of James' shortlist of potential landing spots. That uncertainty could push Golden State to become more aggressive in its pursuit if the organization believes there is a realistic opportunity to acquire the future Hall of Famer.

As a result, Golden State could look to strengthen its pitch by making additional win-now moves that would increase the appeal of joining the franchise.
The Warriors are one of the few contenders with the flexibility and draft capital to make another significant trade.
