The left-handed batter was included in India's playing XI for the second T20I against England at Old Trafford in Manchester.

At 15 years and 99 days, he broke the long-standing record held by Sachin Tendulkar, who had made his international debut at 16 years and 205 days. He also went past Piyush Chawla, who made his Test debut at 17 years and 75 days. Sooryavanshi scored 14 runs off 10 balls, including two sixes, before being stumped by Jos Buttler off the bowling of Will Jacks.Though his innings was short, the teenager showed exactly why he is regarded as one of India's brightest young talents.Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's fearless startSooryavanshi got off the mark with a single before making an immediate impact.

He announced himself on the international stage by smashing England pacer Jofra Archer for a huge six over the wicketkeeper's head. A few deliveries later, he struck another massive six off Josh Tongue. He launched him into the midwicket stands.
