UK soft drinks firm Belvoir Farm is launching a functional drinks brand in its domestic market - Happi. The range includes two SKUs, one called Happi Hydration and the other Happi Digestion. "Designed to deliver both great taste and genuine wellbeing support, the range offers a simple, accessible way for consumers to feel good about their choice of refreshment day to day," according to a statement from Belvoir Farm.
Both drinks carry a RRP of £1.75 ($2.31) and they are being sold in the UK through Amazon and TikTok Shop.
They are manufactured in the UK by Belvoir. They are also available through wholesale stockists Cotswold Fayre, Norfolk Minerals, Shire Foods, and Springvale Foods. Belvoir declined to disclose with Just Drinks the details on further retail listings plans, given "these are active ongoing conversations".
The group doesn't plan to sell the brand outside of the UK. When asked on the strategic reasons for the launch, Belvoir told this publication that it "introduced Happi to disrupt a functional beverage market forced to compromise between health benefits and great taste". It added that "by offering a naturally delicious drink loaded with genuine goodness, Happi eliminates this trade-off with a bold, flavourful, and compromise-free alternative".
The Happi drinks are made with "real fruit juices alongside carefully selected functional ingredients", Belvoir said in the statement. Happi Digestion is a non-carbonated drink with a ginger, lemon and turmeric flavour. It is said to be "high in fibre" and has live cultures which can "support gut health".
The product also contains calcium, which can "support digestive enzymes", and magnesium and vitamin C, Belvoir said. Happi Hydration, a sparkling blueberry and lemon drink, contains electrolytes from Himilayan pink salt as well as "a mineral blend" with magnesium, which Belvoir said can support the balance of electrolytes. The beverage also is said to contain calcium and vitamin C.
Based in Bottersford, Leicestershire, Belvoir Farm produces fruit-flavoured cordials and other soft drinks which are sold in major retailers across the UK, including Tesco, Morissons, Asda and Sainsbury's. Its products are also available online on sites such as Amazon and Ocado. It also sells internationally in markets such as the US and France.
