MoU signedV.O. Chidambaram (VOC) College, Thoothukudi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Subbiah Vidayalayam School, aimed at broadening the scope of higher education, equipping students with the knowledge, skills and value needed for future success.

The MoU was signed by the principal of the VOC College C. Veerabahu and headmistress of the Subbiah Vidyalayam School Vibasri, in the presence of secretary of the school Murali.Sheeba Thavamani, assistant professor, Department of Chemistry has been appointed as the Single Point of Contact and Coordinator of this initiative.

The occasion marked the beginning of a long-term partnership dedicated to educational excellence and community development.Books releasedA book release function of the two volume book titled “Tamil Mozhi Kattral Karppithal” held at Manonmaniam Sundaranar (MS) University College in Nagampatti.U.

Balasubramanian, Controller of Examination of MS University, Tirunelveli released the book and delivered the keynote address. He emphasised that the teaching-learning process plays a crucial role in enhancing students’ knowledge, skills and abilities. Adding that the guidance provided in these books would serve a strong foundation for higher education students, he noted that the book would further help them to master the language without errors and showcase their creativity and individuality in examination.

Seetha Lakshmi, professor from Nanyang University, Singapore received the first copy of the book.Professors and research scholars from various parts of the state presented their research papers and shared their academic findings at the event.
