Tim Hardaway Jr. takes Miami Heat No. 10, his father's retired number
Tim Hardaway Jr. will wear his Basketball Hall of Fame father's retired No. 10 jersey for the Miami Heat after a family decision.
Tim Hardaway Jr. has officially been announced to the Miami Heat. Hardaway is following in his father's footsteps in more ways than one.
He will wear the previously retired No. 10 jersey.But wasn't Hardaway Sr.

According to him, it was a family decision, and he will wear it with honor for his Basketball Hall of Fame father, Tim Hardaway.Hardaway spent a lot of time growing up in the old arena, watching his dad represent the Heat. Hardaway is looking forward to returning to the franchise, where tons of memories and family alike reside.
