News Commercial Property Staff Reporter , Singapore Published: 2 minutes ago Photo from Pixabay Hotel deals worth $1.1b expected in Q3 The investment pipeline follows a quiet second quarter as visitor arrivals reached 7 million in the first half.Three major Singapore hotel transactions worth a combined $1.
1b are expected to conclude in the third quarter of 2026, according to JLL.The anticipated deals involve the 336-room Robertson House, the 575-room Crowne Plaza Changi Airport and the 272-room Orchid Hotel. The three properties comprise 1,183 rooms in total.
JLL said the pipeline signals continued investor interest in Singapore’s hospitality sector following limited transaction activity in the second quarter.Singapore recorded 7 million international visitor arrivals in the first half of 2026. Travellers from markets including China, the US and Japan supported tourism demand.
Despite the increase in arrivals, revenue per available room declined year-on-year. JLL did not disclose the percentage change.Hotel supply expanded by 720 rooms during the first half.
Major properties that opened in Q2 included the 128-room Varel Singapore and the 90-room lyf Chinatown Singapore.Upcoming supply is expected to remain concentrated in the midscale and upscale segments.JLL expects recovering corporate travel, major meetings and events, Singapore’s safe-haven appeal and favourable financing conditions to support occupancy and hotel revenue growth in the near term.
Investor demand is also extending to co-living properties, building on earlier hotel conversion transactions in Punggol Digital District and Changi.
