Raised in New York City with her twin brother (Keen Ruffalo) and loving adoptive father (Jay Duplass), Annie’s life takes a turn when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. There, she finds new friends, budding romances and untold family secrets.
Annie immediately starts asking questions in the clip when her grandfather’s will reveals land in Canada, but her father doesn’t answer beyond the bare minimum. Thus, she journeys to the mysterious island she has just learned about and meets not only some new friends but a sister of sorts in Ramona (Amélie Hoeferle). Looks like the two very different personalities will have to share their grandfather’s cottage for the time being.
