The bar ran out of beer Sunday night and was restocked Monday morning. They were expecting another delivery Thursday ahead of Scotland’s matchup against Morocco.“We’ve been here for over 30 years and we’ve never seen anything like it,” Somers told the publication.
Brewing company Sam Adams also reported running out, with demand for its Boston lager four times what its taproom typically sees during a holiday period.Steve Clarke’s side opened their campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Haiti, giving Scottish fans real hope of reaching the knockout stages for the first time. In Group C, Brazil lead the way on four points after a draw with Morocco and a win over Haiti, while Morocco also sit on four points. Scotland are third on three points, with Haiti yet to register a point.Their fate now comes down to the final group match against Brazil on June 24.
