96 on the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2026, a player-voted list that ranks the league's most respected talent.For Etienne, it's the first time that he's been recognized as one of the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2026 — and it proves that he's one of the most versatile offensive weapons in the league. The Saints signed him this offseason to give Kellen Moore's offense another playmaker who can hurt defenses not just as a runner, but also as a receiver.

“Travis is a Swiss Army knife,” Arik Armstead of the Jacksonville Jaguars said. “He’s kind of under-assuming. You don’t expect him to be that fast.

You don’t expect him to be that quick.”That same quickness should give the Saints another layer offensively. Etienne doesn't need much space to create a big play, and his ability to make defenders miss gives the Saints another player who can change the game.

“As a running back, he improves each and every year, and you can just see it on film,” Houston Texans defensive end Danielle Hunter said.Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Robert Hainsey also praised what Etienne brings beyond the field. The veteran center mentioned both Etienne's explosiveness and how he fits in a locker room.

“Such a lovable guy,” Hainsey said. “He’s been explosive all over the field. He’s a huge weapon and a great, great teammate to have.”

The ranking at No. 96 shows that players around the league view him as one of the NFL's most dangerous running backs. Now, he'll have a chance to prove it in a new offense with the Saints.
