Revealed: Barcelona star Marc Bernal’s response to interest from Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea

Bernal was linked with a loan exit in the winter in a bid to enjoy more game time but turned all the offers down and later admitted he was glad he didn’t move.“From the beginning, it was clear to me that I wanted to stay,” he told Sport. “I’ve been here for many years, it’s the club of my life and I’ve made the right decision.

The moments I am living now I would not have lived anywhere else. And the titles that we can get, feel unique here.”Bernal’s form for Barca saw him narrowly miss out on a place in Spain’s World Cup 2026 squad but has clearly also attracted attention from clubs across Europe.

Yet he’s made it clear he is completely happy at Barcelona where he is under contract until 2029 with a release clause set at 500 million euros.
