Newmarket's Jurkoic, PCA's Conner voted Seacoast Athletes of the Week
Newmarket baseball player Anthony Jurkoic and PCA softball player Molly Conner win Seacoast Athletes of the Week honors.
The Seacoast high school Athletes of the Week for the week of June 8-13 are Portsmouth Christian Academy softball player Molly Conner and Newmarket High School baseball player Anthony Jurkoic.The weekly polls run each Monday through midnight Thursday, and can be found at seacoastonline.com/sports and fosters.

Winnacunnet lacrosse player Joel Williams finished second with 584 votes.
St. Thomas Aquinas lacrosse player Ryan Gould had 77 votes, Marhswood lacrosse player Hayden Demeroto had 44 votes and York lacrosee player Noah Stone had 26 votes, to round out the five nominees.Jurkoic reached base three times, with two hits and a walk, and scored two runs for Newmarket in the Mules' 9-6 Division IV state championship win over Epping on Saturday, June 13."
