‘Morphing towards AI’ – JPMorgan reveals Wall Street’s growing crypto ETF bet
Understanding why ETFs are important to the crypto market.
JP Morgan Asset Management released a comprehensive report on ETFs and how they play a huge part in keeping the whole financial market alive. As per the report, JP Morgan was the largest active ETF issuer with $300 billion in assets under management (AUM). The firm had ETF flows of over $48 billion across 44 active ETF products.

Understanding JP Morgan report on AI-themed ETFs The JP Morgan Asset Management report highlighted that AI-themed ETFs led inflows among all ETF sectors in 2026.
AI-themed ETFs had an AUM of about $67 billion, followed by the infrastructure sector, which had a cap below $60 billion. Each of the five themes had an AUM of more than $30 billion. This trend was occurring even though the AI narrative had a difficult quarter for the sector’s price performance.

He says that the trend will only continue.
The report also noted that ETFs were providing more liquidity to the markets than is immediately apparent. This trend was evident, as the long-term ETF percentage of total exchange volume in the US was 28%. In some periods of high volatility, ETF volume accounted for almost 50%.
