Minister inaugurates 61 completed development projects in Dindigul

Minister for Prohibition and Excise K. Vignesh on Friday inaugurated 61 completed development projects worth Rs.13.

88 crore and distributed welfare assistance to the tune of Rs.4.54 crore to 5,313 beneficiaries in Dindigul.

The Minister conducted a review meeting with officials from all departments. Dindigul Collector Durgamoorthi, Superintendent of Police S. Jeyakumar, Nilakottai MLA R.

Ayyanar and others were present.The review meeting was held to assess the implementation and the progress of the various government schemes across different sectors. During the meeting, the officials presented the ongoing works, planned projects and the required financial resources.

Instructions were given to the officials to submit reports outlining the measures to improve basic amenities for the public, including drinking water facilities, road infrastructure and sanitation. These reports will be brought to the government’s attention and appropriate action will be taken, the Minister said.Officials from all departments should work in coordination to ensure that the welfare schemes reach the people without any eligible beneficiaries being left out, the Minister said.

The Minister inaugurated 61 completed project works for the public use.
