The NL Central-leading Brewers (43-26) announced the NL leader in earned-run average (1.34) will not start Thursday against Tanner Bibee (2-7). Instead, Shane Drohan (3-2) will take Misiorowski's usual spot in the rotation.
Off Monday, the Brewers are planning to start Robert Grasser on Tuesday and Brandon Sproat on Wednesday.Misiorowski, who has allowed one earned run since April 25, likely will be pushed back to Friday's series opener against the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park."I think it actually could be a good thing," Brewers president of baseball operations Matt Arnold said, as reported by MLB.
