6 beta testing continues Apple’s next major software cycle officially began last week with the release of the first developer betas for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27. At the same time, the company is continuing work on its current operating systems. Apple is now rolling out the developer betas 2 for: iPadOS 26.

6 betas didn’t introduce many new features across Apple’s lineup, with the only notable change discovered so far being a new alert that appears when users try to block a contact after reaching the maximum limit. It appears the 26.6 cycle will be mostly focused on bug fixes and performance improvements.
