Köln reach agreement in principle for loan of West Ham's Edison ÁlvarezSky Germany are reporting that 1.FC Köln and West Ham have reached an agreement in principle over a loan deal for Edson Álvarez. The main issue for the Cathedral City club with regards reaching a full agreement with Álvarez over his considerable salary package.
In order to transfer to Köln, the 28-year-old would have to take a significant pay cut to join the Bundesliga outfit.
