Internet reacts as Jameis Winston dons Viking gear for the World Cup

Jameis Winston is still an NFL quarterback, and you can expect to see him on the sidelines this fall, backing up New York Giants starter Jaxson Dart. But once he does decide to hang up his cleats for the final time, the veteran signal-caller certainly has a future as a television personality.After popping up on Netflix's MLB Opening Day broadcast earlier this offseason and winning over fans with his antics, he made an appearance on Fox Sports on Saturday ahead of the World Cup showdown between Norway and England.

In true patriotic fashion, Winston was ready to root against England – for reasons obvious to anyone who made it through grade school history class.But it was Winston's choice of attire and the message he delivered that turned his appearance into a viral moment. Given Norway's Viking lineage, Winston decided the best way to support their national team against the Brits was to dress in full Viking regalia.

When he popped up on everyone's television screens, he greeted fans with some Viking-esque war grunts, followed by an…interesting message."It is I, Winston Fran Tarkenton Randall Moss III," he said.
