He was remanded in custody and will next appear at the Old Bailey on June 22.

No pleas were entered.Navjot was arrested on Tuesday in the Southall area on suspicion of murder and held in police custody.Police were called at 12.

41 am on June 10 following reports of a stabbing on North Road in Southall. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found two men with injuries. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Gurbhej Singh (26) was pronounced dead at the scene, having sustained a knife wound.

Gurbhej had moved to the UK four years ago. A second man, in his 30s, also sustained injuries and was taken to hospital, but has since been discharged. Seven men, aged from their early 20s to late 30s, were previously arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
