Andy Cook has scored 227 league goals in his career [Shutterstock]Grimsby Town have re-signed veteran striker Andy Cook on a one-year deal.The 35-year-old, who also played for the Blundell Park side between 2012 and 2014, ended last season on loan with the Mariners from Bradford City.He scored seven goals in 22 league appearances for Dave Artell's side as they finished seventh in League Two.
Cook told the club website: "We achieved some great things together, but everyone is focused on what comes next. I'm excited to be back permanently and looking forward to getting started again."The Mariners have the option of an additional 12 months on Cook's contract.
