The qualifying mark for world championship was 1:51.00 set by AFI and Unwin achieved it by finishing first in the under-20 event.Asian under-20 champion Pooja won the women’s high jump in 1.

Ambriesh cleared 2.12m in junior boys high jump and achieved the qualifying mark of 2.09m.
Tanu Chaudhary too achieved the world under-20 qualification mark (1:00.75) by clocking a personal best of 59.15s in junior girls 400m hurdles.
