Ad Jojo's pro-wrestling journey began in 2013 when she joined WWE as a backstage figure, besides making appearances on the promotion's reality TV show Total Divas.

She impressed audiences with her vocal performances on the company's programming, and at one point took part in the storyline rivalry between her Total Divas co-stars and the "True Divas" led by AJ Lee.
