Instead of arranging flights, accommodation and a visa separately, eligible travellers will be able to complete everything through one integrated travel booking process.The initiative is aimed at reducing the number of steps between planning a trip and arriving in Saudi Arabia.3.

Travellers can also add experiencesBesides booking a visa, flights and accommodation together, travellers will also have the option to include events, activities and tourism experiences as part of their travel package.The idea is to provide a more connected journey from booking to arrival.4.

The process is completely digitalPackage Visa has been introduced as a fully digital initiative that directly links the visa application with travel bookings.According to Saudi authorities, the initiative is designed to make travelling to the country easier and more accessible.5.

Who can benefit now?During the pilot phase, Package Visa will only be available through qualified travel and tourism service providers.These providers must meet defined service standards and offer 24/7 customer support to ensure a smooth and reliable travel experience.

It builds on earlier visa reformsPackage Visa is the latest step in Saudi Arabia's efforts to simplify travel to the Kingdom.The country had earlier introduced the electronic tourist visa, visa on arrival and the Stopover Transit Visa to make entry easier for international visitors.Saudi authorities said the new pilot service extends those efforts by offering a more integrated and seamless travel experience.

Saudi tourismThe Kingdom received more than 29 million inbound visitors in 2025, with Saudi authorities saying earlier visa initiatives have supported the country's rapid tourism growth.The government described Package Visa as part of its wider effort to deliver experience-led tourism while making travel easier for international visitors.
