Embassy officials and members of the Korean community visited the Chacao municipality in the Greater Caracas area on Friday and delivered the relief supplies to Mayor Gustavo Duque. The supplies included 300 sanitary masks, two boxes of first aid kits and two boxes of food.
Lee Han-sang, chargé d'affaires at the embassy, said the voluntary donation reflects the friendship and strong ties between the two countries. He also pledged to continue supporting Chacao and other local communities. Kim Do-gab, head of the Korean community, expressed sympathy to the people of Venezuela and the residents of Chacao.
He also said he hopes the donated supplies will help them return to their daily lives.
