Officials of the Election Commission of India on Thursday reviewed the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls underway in Visakhapatnam district.Principal Secretary Avinash Kumar and Under Secretary Sanjay Kumar undertook a field visit to several locations.They first inspected the SIR process at Happy Home, under Polling Station No.
193 in the Visakhapatnam West constituency, where they interacted with voters and examined the mapped voter lists.They subsequently reviewed the digitisation process at Polling Station No. 30 in the Visakhapatnam North constituency.
The officials also toured Polling Stations No. 280 and 281 in the Bheemili constituency.They were accompanied by GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, RDOs Dileep Chakravarthy and Sangeeth Madhur, and the concerned Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant EROs.
