Roberts, who has previously echoed the need to uphold the tradition of teams visiting the White House after winning a title, was asked about the team’s decision to visit the White House at a time when a divisive administration is in power. “I’m not a politician,” Roberts said.
“I’m doing something that teams have done for decades. That’s where I stand, really. I’m a baseball coach.
