The LSU Tigers football season is inching closer, now down to double digits on the countdown clock. Kickoff against the Clemson Tigers is now just 77 days away.As we continue to look back at the history of the Bayou Bandits to celebrate and prepare heading into the first game, there is also the matter of getting to know the current-day players.

Here is a look at the past and present of No. 77 at LSU:No. 77 - LT Jordan SeatonThe Tigers brought in almost an entirely new roster of players this offseason and few are more anticipated than Seaton.

He was a part of there trio of top dogs, the highest-ranked lineman in the transfer portal. The sky is the limit for Seaton in Baton Rouge. He was a blue-chip high school recruit who has looked like he belonged since the moment he stepped on a football field.

He is a great athlete who has pretty much everything that NFL teams want. He could certainly be the first non-quarterback taken and, depending on the team, the first overall player in next year’s draft.Seaton has some room to grow with strength to help in the run game, though it’s hard to put all of the struggles of the Colorado Buffaloes run game on him, though, as that entire group struggled and made his job harder.

He wasn’t perfect, though.Given his skill profile, it’s not shocking that Seaton is a more natural pass protector and has been more successful there in his college career. The 6-foot-5 tackle combines his size with top-end athleticism to lock down the left side.

It’ll at least be a return to not really worrying about that side like when Will Campbell was manning that spot.Similar to Campbell, Seaton is the type of talent at left tackle that could warrant the iconic No. 7 from the Tigers, so No.

77 is perfect. That’s not the only reason he’s wearing it, though, because he also wore it with the Colorado Buffaloes.Highlighting Former Players Who Wore No.
