After arriving on the stage on a sport bike wrapped in lights, the “WAP” rapper performed a mashup of several tracks from her second studio album, Am I the Drama?
, which was released last year. The medley featured “Errtime,” “Hello,” “Check Please” and “Pretty & Petty.” Cardi’s lively set brought the crowd to their feet as she strutted around the stage, surrounded by backup dancers.
The artist, sporting fiery red hair and a colorful bodysuit, also jumped on a stripper pole at one point after hopping back on the sport bike. twitter.com/vEWBt3rqET— Cardi B | Updates (@updatesofcardi) June 29, 2026 Other artists who took to the stage to perform Sunday night included Raye, Doechii, Common, Don Toliver, Jill Scott, Kehlani, French Montana and Max B, Tems, The War and Treaty, Durand Bernarr, Erica Campbell, Rick Ross, George Clinton, Nas and Rapsody, among many others. Heading into the show, Cardi B led with six total nominations, including the Fashion Vanguard Award, best collaboration, video director of the year, album of the year, viewers’ choice and best female Hip-Hop artist, the latter of which she won.
Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist followed with five nods apiece. Other top nominees include Doechii, Doja Cat, Clipse, Teyana Taylor, Olivia Dean and Latto. The 2026 ceremony, hosted by Druski, aired live on Sunday, June 28, from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
