The 2026 U.S. Open is underway, which means that many of the world’s best golfers have come together at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, N.
Y., this weekend. While several top golfers have performed well to this point, several others have disappointed in a major way.
Perhaps the most notable is 36-year-old American standout Brooks Koepka.Brooks Koepka Getty ImagesThere was hope that Koepka (who is notorious for being inconsistent with his major tournament performances) could produce some solid rounds at the U.S.
Open, if only because he’s a two-time U.S. Open champion and won the tournament the last time it was played at Shinnecock Hills.
That has not been the case. Koepka shot 3 over par on Thursday and followed that up with an even worse outing Friday, shooting 7 over to leave him at 10 over through two rounds. Because of this, there’s little doubt that Koepka will miss the cut and not even compete in the U.
S. Open’s final two days. The good news for Koepka is that he has the support of his wife, Jena Sims, no matter what.
Brooks and Jena Sims Koepka have been together more than 10 years. Instagram/@walksauce42_These two met at the Masters over a decade ago and have been going strong ever since. They have one child, a son named Crew.
Sims has been a Sports Illustratedswimsuit model in the past and has done an awesome job building her own following on social media. And a large part of her social media appeal is her humor.A recent example of this arrived on June 19, while Sims was watching her husband struggle at the U.
S. Open. She made an Instagram post doing a trend where she first pretended to be a normal person watching golf, and then acted like an influencer watching golf, which involved exaggerating her movement, flaunting her outfits and taking selfies.
Jena Sims Koepka’s June 19 Instagram post Instagram/@walksauce42_“Golf Hallelujah,” the post was captioned. View this post on InstagramAt least Brooks Koepka’s wife can seemingly make light of his U.S.
