Ryerson was outstanding in the Bundesliga last season, providing 15 assists from right-back.Centre-back: Marquinhos – BrazilOne of the most decorated footballers in history will hope to add the sport’s biggest prize to his glittering CV this summer.

The 28-year-old is a massive presence in both boxes for Brazil.Left-back: Douglas Santos – BrazilA late bloomer, the 32-year-old went nine years between his Brazil debut in 2016 and cementing himself as a regular in the side. Santos, who has since won 11 senior caps, has won six Russian Premier League titles with Zenit St Petersburg, who he captains.
