That's because the New York Knicks just won their first NBA title in 53 years. Yes, there are two NBA teams in the Empire State, also including the Brooklyn Nets. It's the Knicks that are NYC's favorite, though, and they finished their dominant postseason with a win on Saturday night to earn the Larry O'Brien Trophy.
