Berlin cancels CSD Pride parade after police incident

Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets of Berlin to advocate for tolerance and diversity, culminating in a show on Saturday night at the Brandenburg Gate. Police have asked people to avoid the area around Tiergarten, saying a "major operation" was underway. The main parade had been scheduled to run over two days for the first time this year, beginning on Saturday and wrapping up on Sunday.
