BCCI name replacements for injured Harshit Rana and Varun Chakaravarthy ahead of ENG vs IND 2026 ODIs

× The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) named the replacements for the injured duo of Harshit Rana and Varun Chakaravarthy for the upcoming ODI series against England and the following T20I series in Zimbabwe. While Harshit was part of the ODI squad for the England series, Varun was part of the squad for the Zimbabwe T20Is. Both Harshit and Varun were ruled out of the final two games of the recently concluded T20I series in England after sustaining injuries during the third T20I. Harshit reportedly experienced discomfort in his right hamstring, which has now been revealed to be a Grade 1 hamstring injury.
