The Horticulture Department will hold an awareness workshop on the Cluster Development Programme (CDP) and Post-Harvest Management (PHM) on Tuesday, July 7, from 2 p.m. at the Visakhapatnam Chamber of Commerce, Dutt Island, Siripuram.

According to District Horticulture Officer, Visakhapatnam, the workshop seeks to sensitise stakeholders on the two Central government schemes and identify agencies and potential clusters for their effective implementation.Entrepreneurs, traders, exporters, processors, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs/FPCs), cooperative societies, recognised non-governmental organisations and private companies engaged in horticulture from Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli and Alluri Sitharama Raju districts can participate.Officials have urged stakeholders to attend in large numbers and deepen their understanding of the schemes’ implementation.
