Auburn soccer reveals 2026 schedule with unique video
The second season of the James Armstrong era gets underway in August. Take a look at this season's schedule for Auburn soccer here.
Auburn soccer partnered with a popular grocery store chain to release its 2026 schedule.Auburn soccer, with help from Publix, released its 2026 schedule by making a video that tied in popular grocery brands with the mascots of its opponents. Several items used in the video included Frosted Flakes cereal for Clemson and Publix-brand bacon for Arkansas.
This season's slate features five SEC road contests at Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Florida, and Texas, and home matches against SEC foes Alabama, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Mississippi State. The non-SEC slate features several notable home games against Clemson, Jax State, and Georgia State, as well as road matches at UAB and Samford. “We wanted to build a schedule that would prepare us for the highest levels of competition,” Auburn head coach James Armstrong said of the schedule.
“This is a very competitive slate, with opponents who bring varying styles and strengths. Our goal was to ensure we would be tested in an assortment of environments; both home and away, so that we are fully prepared for conference play and ultimately, the NCAA Tournament.”The second season of the James Armstrong era of Auburn soccer will get underway on Aug.
5 with the Tigers hosting Georgia for a preseason scrimmage at the Auburn Soccer Complex. Auburn finished 5-6-7 in Armstrong's first season. Dylan Driver returns as the Tigers' top scorer after finishing last season with 13 points and seven assists over 16 starts.
