Are the microtransactions worth buying in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced The Dragon Storm DLC outfit (Image via Ubisoft) No, the microtransactions, for the most part, aren't necessary to enjoy Black Flag Resynced and its story. As is the case with any cosmetic DLC or add-on, the microtransactions here are completely optional. And frankly, for the price of $10 for each pack, it's not worth buying anyway, and that's even more true for the Map and Resource packs.
Ad While the original Black Flag also featured microtransactions, those were mostly tied to the game's multiplayer mode, which isn't a part of Resynced. And for a single-player-only title, microtransactions don't make a lot of sense, especially for a remake like this. Furthermore, the DLC outfits don't fit the more "grounded" nature of Assassin's Creed Black Flag in the first place.
