Taylor-Joy’s casting was confirmed in an Instagram post by Warner Bros. on Tuesday, June 16, as they shared a GIF of the actress in the role. “Welcome to the hunt, Anya Taylor-Joy,” read the post, which has now gained 4 million views.

The cast also includes Jamie Dornan as Aragorn, Leo Woodall as Halvard, and Kate Winslet as Marigol. Returning stars include Ian McKellen as Gandalf, Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins, and Lee Pace as Thranduil.
