Rolling out now, WhatsApp for Android Auto is getting a refresh that makes it easier to use the app while driving. Specifically, Meta explains that you can now “make calls, see your call history, and reach your favorites” from Android Auto with voice commands.
We’ve completely refreshed the WhatsApp care audio experience. Now you can hear and respond to messages, make calls, see your call history, and reach your favorites – hands-free and right from your car’s screen. No images of the updated Android Auto app were provided, but there is a look at the CarPlay counterpart: This is long overdue.
