Luis de la Fuente's Spain are unbeaten in 33 competitive games (ROBERTO SCHMIDT)Spain boss Luis de la Fuente said his side had silenced their doubters after Lamine Yamal and Mikel Oyarzabal inspired a 4-0 thrashing of Saudi Arabia on Sunday. One of the pre-tournament favourites, La Roja's World Cup got off to a slow start as they were held 0-0 by tournament debutants Cape Verde.Barcelona superstar Yamal only appeared as a second-half substitute in that match as he is eased back to full fitness after a hamstring injury.
