7% Class XII re-evaluation cases cleared: CBSE NEW DELHI: CBSE Sunday said it has declared outcomes in over 99.7% of applications received for verification and reevaluation of Class XII 2026 results, even as it rejected a student’s social media claim on marks revision as “factually incorrect” and a “blatant lie”, reports Manash Gohain. CBSE officials rebutted the claim of Vedant Shrivastav, who posted a video claiming he had seen an increase of only two marks and that no marks were increased in the “exchanged answer sheets”.
CBSE officials said results of applications for “verification of issues observed and reevaluation” have been released in batches since June 21. The remaining cases, it said, are in the final stages of processing and are expected to be released in a couple of days. The board also sought to contrast this year’s timeline with 2025.
The clarification comes against the backdrop of the controversy over CBSE’s OSM system rolled out for Class XII this year.Get the latest India news and live updates. Download the TOI App.
