A 25-year-old youngster allegedly ended his life at his house in Racharla Gollapalli village of Rajanna Sircilla district in the wee hours of Thursday (July 23, 2026), leaving behind a note purportedly written on an Enumeration Form used for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.According to sources, the deceased, identified as Vamshi, a wall painter who had studied up to SSC, reportedly mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name in the note. However, police said its authenticity was yet to be ascertained.
According to a complaint lodged by his father, Vamshi had an argument with his mother on Wednesday night over some issue. The unmarried youth was also facing financial difficulties. Police said family issues might have driven him to take the extreme step.
