ヒロシマ賞授賞式、米国の現代美術家に賞状 記念展も25日から開催
現代美術の分野で平和に貢献した作家に贈られる第12回「ヒロシマ賞」（広島市など主催、朝日新聞社共催）の授賞式が24日、広島市南区の市現代美術館であり、米国の現代美術家メル・チンさん（74）に賞状と賞金500万円が贈られた。受賞記念展が25日から10月12日まで同館で開かれる。 チンさんは気候変動や土壌汚染といった環境問題や社会的課題に着想を得て、彫刻や絵画などの表現手法で作品を制作してきた。記念展では、漫画「はだしのゲン」を読んだチンさんが、作者の故中沢啓治さんをモチーフにして作った少年像などを展示する。 有料会員になると会員限定の有料記事もお読みいただ
