The PNP said that an operation was conducted after the Quezon Police Provincial Office (PPO) received a hot pursuit request from the Libmanan Municipal Police Station in Camarines Sur on Friday.

The following items inside a brown sling bag from the suspects were retrieved: One caliber 9mm pistol, chamber loaded with inserted magazine containing live ammunition, bearing Serial Number RIA2016588; One caliber .40 pistol, chamber loaded with inserted magazine containing live ammunition, bearing Serial Number CM13258P; Two extra loaded magazines for caliber .40 pistol; Various foreign currencies and Philippine peso bills; and Assorted pieces of jewelry READ: Police, 3 robbery suspects exchange gunshots along NLEX, says PRO-3 “The arrested suspects, together with all recovered firearms and other pieces of evidence, were immediately turned over to the custody of Gumaca Municipal Police Station for proper documentation, inventory, further investigation, coordination with the concerned police units, and the filing of appropriate criminal charges,” the spot report said.

Their professionalism and prompt response prevented armed suspects from evading justice and helped ensure the safety of the riding public,” Nartatez said.
