도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 15일(현지시각) 미국 해군 전력 증강을 강조하면서 한국을 집어 조선 협력 필요성을 언급했다. 미국 밖에서 선박을 구매할 수 있다는 취지의 언급도 다시 했다. 이에 따라 한·미 조선 협력 프로젝트인 ‘마스가(MASGA·미국 조선업을 다시 위대하게)’가 속도를 낼 수 있다는 관측이 나온다. 다만 마스가가 실질적인 성과를 내려면 별도의 규제 완화 조치가 필요하다.
