국민의힘 최고위원회가 27일 최근 국회 상임위원회 배정 결과에 항의하며 정점식 원내대표의 멱살을 잡은 권영진 의원에 대해 ‘제명’을 포함한 최고 수준의 징계가 필요하다는 데 의견을 모았다. 국민의힘 지도부는 이날 권 의원에게 자진 탈당을 권유한 뒤 권 의원이 이를 받아들이지 않으면 내일 징계 절차를 개시할 예정이다.
